From Strongbow to the Reformation they recreate the sights, sounds and smells of this busy city. Learn of warfare, crime and punishment, death and disease and even toothache remedies of 700 years ago. See the city as it would have looked then. Enjoy the spicy aromas; learn to play medieval games and so much more when you visit our medieval fair. Visit a rich merchant’s kitchen and walk along a bustling medieval street, don’t forget to give the beggar some of your change, then see the Viking history of Dublin, try on Viking clothes, become a slave (watch those heavy chains) and stroll down a noisy street. Visit a smokey and cramped Viking house, learn the Viking runic alphabet and hear their poetry and sagas. Enjoy the myths and learn of the mysteries surrounding the Vikings and their legacy.

You will visit many of the Medieval castles that are all from different regions and periods of time throughout the country. Much of your days will be filled with wandering among the ancient turrets and walls of the historical fairy tale castles, learning the history myths and legends and exploring them on your own. Your nights will be filled with sleeping in splendid castles and a Villa to feel like an Irish nobility, or you will be traveling to different traditional cottages and modern homes where you will have the run of the houses to relax by the fireplaces.

You will see many towns and villages that are centuries old filled with people who linage goes back a long time, towns named for families who descendants still live there in their homes passed down through the ages, visit the many cemeteries with beautiful graves and monuments to their ancestors. The pubs will be filled with locals serving up traditional food and beverages, try it all and listen to some traditional Irish Music while you indulge in their culture.
