Nomad Explorers Society Membership
Nomad Explorers Society is a private society for members only and their guests. Only people that the council feels that will uphold the Nomad Ideology, The One World Philosophy, and The Standards of the Nomad Explorers Society will be invited to become a member. While on most Nomad Journeys members are allowed to bring guests to participate in most activities, except during times where council meetings are held privately and confidential. However, there are Member only Journeys as well depending on your degree in the society. There are 2 ways to become a member as follows:
Requirements for Membership through Sponsor
1. You must be invited by an active member who becomes your sponsor
2. As your sponsor they are responsible for your actions until full membership is awarded
3. You must read over:
a.The One World Philosophy and Nomad Travel Ideology
b. The Standards of NES
c.The Terms and Conditions
4, Then fill out a Letter of Intent
5. Once completed The NES council will review it and determines you as a viable or non viable candidate
6. If accepted you will be notified by email
7. You will then be considered a "Wayfarer" Member during your probationary time an assigned a group
8. At this time your sponsor will make a case for your membership as well
9. You will have to take a Nomad Journey with a group before full membership will be considered.
10. You will be voted on for full membership by other Journeyman Degree and higher members at that conclusion of your Journey in a "Toran" vote
11. If approved you will pay your Lifetime Membership fee (currently $100) and you will receive you membership letter
12. You then will be awarded "Voyager" Member" degree (the second degree of the Nomad Explorers Society) and receive your first Key
13. Your further Membership degrees and benefits will be determined by your type of travel experiences set forth by the Nomad Explorer Society Legacy Council
14. For every Nomad Journey taken you will receive a "key" of recognition to your explorations of which will be consideration for further advancement in the Society
