September 19th and 20th

Everyone made their flights, we met at the airport and headed to the apartment. A nice 2 bedroom 5th floor apt (no elevator)

The next day we got up and headed to our trike paragliding experience. After a few different transports and driving through the streets of lima a few hours in the south of Lima we arrived at a beach.

The paragliding was awesome, very smooth and we sailed through the clouds, it did make you feel like a bird soaring, through the clouds especial the circle landing.

That evening we went and had chironoene and ribs, along with fresh bread, Chifa rice, fried sweet potatoes, and chicha morda. (a purple corn sweet drink)

September 21

Today we got up early and saw 3 diffetent huacas (ancient ruin pyramids and temples) the 1st was 1500 years old, the second just recently opened was 500 years old and the 3rd was from 200bc. Varying from the modern Iscma and Inkan culture to the more modern wari and Lima tribes, depending on the millennia.
For lunch we are at a local Pervian restaurant haveva couple of traditional dishes, like a tripe crilleo dish, and lomo saltado, the group got their first taste of Inka Kola, a very sweet side like bubble gum and red bull.
Then we took the tour at the San Francisco Basilica. An amazing church with an amazing library, cathedral, and various other rooms of antiquity. The highlight is always the Catecombs, 25,000 people buried there with bone decorations. We then to the Oldest bar in Lima for some drinks
